Privacy notice for Gaia Casinos

A readable account of what the site collects, the reasons behind it and the ways you can control your information.

The short version

Gaia Casinos asks for no sign-up and offers no forms. Google Analytics measures visits through analytics cookies, and nothing is used for advertising or profiling. BYTX LTDA decides how data is handled, and requests go to [email protected]. We follow Brazil's LGPD and respect relevant Canadian privacy rules.

Here we explain what happens to personal information when you read Gaia Casinos. The company that runs the site is responsible for it, and it works under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) while also respecting the privacy rules of the country a visitor comes from.

Nothing on the site requires an account, comments or a purchase, so very little information is involved.

1. Who is responsible

The controller is BYTX LTDA, CNPJ 65.649.904/0001-98, with its office at R. Professora Urana Gomes Barros, 390, Campinas, São Paulo, CEP 13056-674, Brazil. Privacy requests go to [email protected].

2. What information reaches us

We never ask you to type personal details. Even so, the servers behind any website log basic technical facts needed to deliver and protect pages: your IP address, browser, operating system, the time of the visit and the page requested. If you write to us, the content of your email is processed so that we can answer.

3. The purposes

The data keep the site running and safe, help us spot abuse and attacks, show how well pages perform and let us respond to your messages. Our legal footing is the operator's legitimate interest, and, for emails, the need to handle your request.

4. Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics (GA4) tells us which pages are read, from which country, on what kind of device and through which route visitors arrive. To do so it sets analytics cookies and records a shortened IP address, browser details and the pages you view. Counting visits does not hinge on a cookie banner; we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site, and a notice says so. Clicks on operator links are recorded as an anonymous event. No advertising or profiling cookies are used. Analytics records are kept for 14 months, and you can block them through your browser settings or Google's opt-out add-on. Cloudflare may add strictly technical cookies to shield the site from automated traffic.

5. Who else sees the data

Nothing is sold or rented. Providers of hosting and security handle technical data for us. Operators' websites, once you click through, operate under their own policies, which are worth reading before you hand over information there.

6. Data abroad, and how long we keep it

Because the company sits in Brazil and its providers may run servers elsewhere, technical data can be handled outside Canada. We hold it for as long as the purposes above and legal retention periods require, and no longer.

7. What you can ask of us

You may request confirmation that data is processed, access, correction, anonymization, deletion or an end to processing, and you may withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Canadian laws such as PIPEDA and Quebec's statute can add rights, access and correction among them. Email [email protected]. If our reply leaves you unsatisfied, a data protection authority such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada can step in.

8. Children and revisions

The site is intended for adults. This notice may be revised, and the date of the current version is shown on this page.
